Product Review:
The ThinkPad 570, the newest notebook computer from IBM, follows the acclaimed ThinkPad 560 and establishes a new standard for no-compromise, ultraportable computers. Designed for the busy professional on the move, the stylish IBM ThinkPad 570 is 28mm thin (thickness may vary at certain points on the system), only 1.83 kg light and packed with uncompromising performance features: huge TFT screens up to 13.3 inches; Intel Mobile Pentium II at 366MHz, 333MHz and 300MHz; optional integrated 56K V.90 modem; and user-upgradeable hard disk drives up to 6.4GB. Slip the ThinkPad 570 into its thin optional UltraBase and it transforms into an integrated all-in-one notebook that's great for the road or the office. One UltraBase bay holds a diskette drive or battery; the other bay holds a variety of convenient UltraslimBay options - DVD drive, CD-ROM drive, Zip 100MB Drive, SuperDisk (LS-120) drive or a second hard disk drive (requires optional HDD adapter).
