The pocketCD98 can be powered off your PC (through the PCMCIA slot or keyboard port) or off the included AC Power Adapter. The Power Adapter is extremely small and lightweight and automatically switches from 110 to 240 volt operations, making the PocketCD98 the perfect traveling companion. The PocketCD98 has a fast maximum data transfer rate of 3600 Kbytes per second (24x version) or 3000 Kbytes per second (20x version).
